Jakob Finkbeiner from the Institute of Electrical and Optical Communication Engineering (INT) has won the Circuit Analysis and Design Contest of the Solid State Circuits Society. His submission, "An Energy-Efficient Voltage-to-Time Converter With Built-in ReLU Activation Function in 22-nm FDSOI," was recognized by the contest committee.
The paper presents a voltage-to-time converter with an integrated ReLU activation function for energy-efficient analog AI accelerators.
As a prize, the Solid State Circuits Society will cover the costs for his attendance at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference in San Francisco.
